NEW STATIONS: OKRUZHNAYA, VERKHNIYE LIKHOBORY AND SELIGERSKAYA

GRAND OPENING OF THE LUBLINSKO-DMITROVSKAYA LINE OF THE METRO WAS HELD IN THE NORTH OF MOSCOW. STATION "SELIGERSKAYA" BECAME THE JUBILEE 215th METRO STATION BUILT IN THE CAPITAL

«The city received a new section of the metro line — from «Maryina Roshcha» to «Seligerskaya». This extension has seven stations, 12 kilometers long and is included in the Dmitrovsky radius. Tunnel activities were burdensome, mostly worked manually. There were complex geological conditions and problems associated with the release of the sites. One Petrovsko-Razumovsky market site was worth a lot to us. Nevertheless, step by step, the station to station, we realized this most complicated project» Sergei Sobyanin said during the opening speech.

According to the estimates of the city authorities, approximately 150,000 people will use the new stations every day. This will help relieve the station «Petrovsko-Razumovskaya» by 20-30% and the Okruzhnaya station of the Moscow Ring Railway station by 40%.

«Okruzhnaya» station

The deep-lying station is located along the Locomotive Passage. The natural stone — granite of black and gray tones, as well as white and golden-yellow marble are used for its decoration. Inside interiors refer to the Savelovskaya railway, passing nearby. The architects recreated the image of the railway line by hanging five lines of fixtures on an openwork structure on the ceiling of the «Okruzhnaya». The light from them falls both on the station’s arch and on the platform.

At the moment, the station will operate only the southern vestibule entering through the Gostinichny Passage, opposite the house number six. Completion of the construction and opening of the northern lobby «Okruzhnaya» is planned to be combined with the creation of the transport interchange hub with the same name, which provides transport change to the Moscow central railway and the stop of the Savelovsky line of the Moscow railway. In perspective, of the «Central diameters Odintsovo — Lobnya» will also pass here.

Station «Verkhnie Likhobory»

The station is located along the Dmitrovkoye highway in the area of adjoining of Beskudnikovsky boulevard. Two vestibules will not work right away; the north will open before the end of the year, the south exit is open for passengers. In the future, the north exit will lead to Dubninskaya street and stop points for the land transport. In the finishing of the station, gray and black granite are used, as well as white and multicolored marble with gray, red and coral patches.

On the connecting line from the station «Verkhniye Likhobory» trains will be able to drive to the electric depot «Likhobory», designed for the maintenance and repair of the rolling stock of the Lublinsko -Dmitrovskaya metro line.

In the future, the station «Verkhniye Lihobory» is planned to be included in the same transport interchange hub, providing pedestrian communication with the platform «NATI» of the Octyabrskaya Railway.

Station «Seligerskaya»

The station is located along the Dmitrovskoye highway, in the area of the fork with Korovinskoe highway. Two vestibules lead to these city highways. The decoration of the station uses granite, composite panels, moldings made of stainless steel, tempered glass.

At the «Seligerskaya» architects applied the principle of flowing space, expanding along the route of the passenger. The passage, the vestibule of the station, the escalator descent and the platform form enfilade of halls. Such architectural thought will also help to ensure maximum throughput: passengers can quickly navigate to the station and promptly determine their location.

From the station «Seligerskaya», the transport interchange hub is planned. It will include underground pedestrian crossings, combined with metro vestibules, the bus station terminal, a turning platform, intercepting parking, a taxi stand, and a multifunctional complex.

Near the metro station, the landscaped area will be placed; there will be a park with a pond and beach, as well as fountains. The landscaped area for the residents of the city will be created as part of the project of the residential quarter «Seliger City», located at Ilmensky passage, 14. The developer of the project is «MR Group». The size of the park area will be about 30 000 m². According to the concept of improvement, the park itself will be surrounded by hills. On their inner slopes following objects will be placed: amphitheaters with benches, two large playgrounds, a pond with sandy beach and a wooden deck with pergola, football field, volleyball court, street workout, and picnic area.

Throughout the entire residential area will be two pedestrian boulevards, which are the central composition axis of the territory. At their intersection, the main square of the complex with a fountain and amphitheater will be located. The park is planned to be completed in 2019.

The launch of the northern radius of the Lublinsko — Dmitrovskaya line has solved several transport problems. The subway was used by residents of six districts — Maryina Roshcha, Butyrsky, Timiryazevsky, Beskudnikovsky, Western and Eastern Degunino — with a population of 450,000 people. For residents of the Dmitrovsky and Northern regions, the road to the metro was reduced. The time of trips around the city was reduced by 20 minutes. The passenger flow on the «Petrovsko-Razumovskaya» — «Timiryazevskaya» stretch of the gray line decreased by 15%, and the number of passengers at the station of the Moscow central railway «Okruzhnaya» increased by 10%. Inside the districts, land public transport started to operate better: after the launch of the metro, extended transport routes to Petrovsko — Razumovswkaya station were canceled. The intensity of traffic on the Dmitrovskoe highway, Ogorodny passage, Milashenkova street, Beskudnikovsky boulevard, Dubninskaya street and local streets near new metro stations decreased.

Until the end of 2021, the green colored subway line is planned to be extended by 3.7 kilometers. The metro stations «800th anniversary of Moscow street» and Dmitrovskoe highway of the «Lublinsko -Dmitrovskaya» line are scheduled to be built before the end of 2021, in the future — an extension of this line to the district «Severny» is planned.

This year it is planned to open 21 metro stations, for example, trains can run on the new section of the Sokolnicheskaya line from the station «Salaryevo» to «Stolbova». Next year, work is planned on the site from the station «Kosino» to «Nizhegorodskaya street» on the Kozhukhovskaya metro line and from «Nizhegorodskaya» on the Bolshoy ring road to «Aviamotornaya».
